Six answers we would rather give up front
- What does free actually give me?
- The whole verdict on one recipe in one region: whether the label is compliant, every problem we find in plain terms, where each answer came from, and — just as prominently — what we could not check and why. No card, and it never expires. The one thing you cannot do is send the report to anyone else; that needs Basic.
- Why is the paywall at sending rather than at the answer?
- Because we are not willing to sell you the truth about your own label back to you. The moment worth charging for is when the answer stops being yours and becomes someone else's problem — a printer, a retailer, an authority. That is what a sendable, verifiable report is for.
- What counts as a recipe?
- The formulation. Every pack size and every artwork version of that recipe is included at no extra cost, because charging for them would price exactly the behaviour we want: re-checking every variant before a print run.
- Do you charge per market or per check?
- Neither. You buy a region whole — pick the EU and you have all twenty-seven member states, in every official language they are printed in. Checks and re-checks are unlimited on every plan, including free.
- Do you charge per seat?
- Only for people who edit, and only beyond the three or five your plan includes (€50 a month each; Advanced has no seat count at all). People who only read are free on every paid plan, always, and as many as you like — an invitation is how the report travels, so we never tax it.
- Which regions can I actually buy today?
- The EU, the UK (Great Britain and Northern Ireland as separate markets), and Switzerland with Norway. We do not sell the United States yet, because we do not sell a region before we have published how deeply we cover every market in it. The coverage page is that publication, and it is where the US will appear first.
